Clearance Wholesale can arrange shipping or assist in client arranged shipping of machinery for export.

Export Within The EU

For goods to be zero rated the following criteria must be met:

  • You must be VAT registered, all VAT registration numbers will be checked with Customs & Excise
  • Your VAT registered address must match that of the invoice address
  • Provide a shipping document that references the invoice and items exported

If the above cannot be met a deposit equal to the equivalent of the VAT amount will be held and refunded if the above criteria is met within three months of the invoice date.

Export To A Non EU Country

For goods to be zero rated the following criteria must be met:

  • Bills of lading must be forwarded to Clearance Wholesale within three months of the invoice date
  • Bills of lading must specify the goods with reference to an invoice number, description and serial number of items exported
  • Any export paperwork must be original, photocopies or faxes not acceptable
  • Consignee details on the bill of lading must match those of the purchaser on the invoice

If the above cannot be met a deposit equal to the equivalent of the VAT amount will be held and refunded if the above criteria is met within three months of the invoice date.
